The program is aimed at providing timely, necessary and uniform information to beneficiaries of international protection in Estonia to support their rapid adjustment and independent coping. The program supports Estonia in managing part of migration, with better adaptation results among beneficiaries of international protection (BIPs).
The project is implemented by the Estonian Refugee Council in cooperation with IOM. The goal of the project is to provide the adaptation training to 150 BIPs in Estonia so that they are aware of Estonian society and values, their rights and responsibilities, understand the Estonian social welfare and health care system, know the education system and access to the labor market, plan their family budget and know what services and support they can get. IOM contributes to the project activities by organizing the content of trainings, managing the network of trainers, as well as preparing and updating training materials.
