IOM presence in Tallinn Migration Center
Since November 2024, IOM has a permanent presence at the Tallinn Migration Centre (Endla 8). At the Centre, we offer the following services to migrants and refugees:
- Healthcare system counseling: This service helps migrants navigate the Estonian healthcare system and understand their rights, obligations, health insurance, access to family doctors, medical platforms, and more.
- Case management for refugees from Ukraine: We provide consultations and pre-departure assistance for refugees from Ukraine who are in transit through Estonia and for those in a vulnerable state living in Estonia. This includes advice and covering costs related to onward transport, temporary accommodation, and other individual support.
- Legal counseling on employment matters: In cooperation with the Estonian Human Rights Centre, we offer legal assistance with employment contracts and advice on preventing and addressing cases of labor exploitation. The service is available to anyone who wants to learn more about the specifics of the Estonian labor market or who has experienced unfair working conditions.
- Voluntary return: We provide assistance to migrants who do not have the right to stay in Estonia or whose right to stay is coming to an end, and who have decided to return to their home country. We offer support before the journey, during transit, and after arrival for the purpose of reintegration.
The IOM general contact number at the Tallinn Migration Centre is +372 5852 2233.
